Andrés Andreani (n. 16 de septiembre de 1984, Buenos Aires) es un artista visual argentino, actor y realizador de cine.

Primeros años[editar]

Demostrando intereses artísticos desde muy temprana edad, Andreani comenzó a tomar clases de actuación a la edad de 12 años. Estudió Artes en la Universidad de Buenos Aires y Artes Dramáticas en la Universidad Nacional de las Artes. Durante ese tiempo también completó seminarios sobre Dirección de Teatro, Dirección de arte y escritura de guiones. Participó en muchas obras teatrales de la escena teatral independiente de Buenos Aires y fue productor y director de cortometrajes y videos musicales.

Carrera[editar]

NOVAK is his first feature film. It was premiered in Buenos Aires in 2009 and since then it was presented at many film festivals in Argentina, Estados Unidos, España, México, Venezuela, Francia y Japón. El filme ganó 'Best International Comedy' at The New York International Independent Film Festival in 2010.

Durante 2010 y 2011 se mudó a Barcelona y luego a Nueva York donde completó su post producción de su segunda característica ambiciosa, Longchamps, en donde coreografió a 27 actores y 8 camarógrafos para contar una historia a coro acerca del mundo siendo salvado por la música.

While in New York he started the shooting of his third feature film Peter Bartok Jr. This absurd story, inspired by Béla Bartók's third piano concerto, counts with the performances of Argentinean actors Martín Piroyansky and Norman Briski.

In 2011, Andreani met renowned Hungarian filmmaker Béla Tarr at The Berlin Film Festival and later that year he traveled to Croacia to direct a short film under Tarr's supervision. The 27 minutes film, The State That I am Fish, gets its premiere at The Split Film Festival and then also in Paris for Béla Tarr's retrospective at Centre Pompidou.

Luego se mudó a París, where he started making videos for Lidewij Edelkoort, one of the world's most renowned trend forecasters.

In 2012 he was commissioned by the New Yorker organization Elastic City to produce an interactive performance that gives birth to his latest shortfilm Les Amants du Pont Dieu. Shot with 12 simultaneous long takes along the Canal Saint-Martin in París.

He also does video installations. His most recent works include Nicole Kidman cries over Kubrick's death showed in 42RL, (París) and The weight of the artist showed in General Public, (Berlin).
