The Voice es un talent show estadounidense que se estrenó el 26 de abril de 2011, en la cadena de televisión NBC. Basado en el concurso de canto The Voice of Holland, la serie fue creada por el productor holandés John de Mol.[1] Es parte de una serie internacional. The Voice de inmediato resultó ser un éxito para NBC y en mayo de 2011, se confirmó que la cadena había renovado el programa para una segunda temporada, la cual se estrenó el 5 de febrero de 2012, inmediatamente de la transmisión del Super Bowl XLVI.[2][3]
