A heads-up[editar]

Last 2 Cuban workers retire.

Forgive me leaving a note in English.

The article contains two errors.

  1. This article says the gate is still used by Cuban day-workers.

After the Cuban revolution several thousand Cuban workers per day used the gate to commute to work. But the USA stopped hiring new Cuban workers. The last two Cuban workers retired about ten years ago. There was a retirement party, with cake, attended by the commandant.

  2. The article says this is the only gate. That is wrong. It is merely the only operational gate.

On September 30, 1961, Cuban worker Rubén López Sabariego was murdered, in cold blood, on Cuban soil, by Captain en:Arthur J. Jackson, who had pushed him out a disused gate on the base's southwest corner when in the grip of drunken paranoia. Geo Swan (discusión) 15:32 28 may 2020 (UTC)[responder]
