Rhetorica Christiana es un libro que fue publicado en Perugia, Italia en 1579.^[1] El autor, Diego de Valadés, era hijo de padre español y madre indígena tlaxcalteca lo cual indica que Rhetorica Christiana fue el primer libro publicado por un mestizo en Europa.^[1]
