Beginnings

In 1988 started working in Venezuela for Omnivisio (Tu Cana Primavado) where he was able to find a job as a Character Generator creating graphics and lower thirds for the news. One year later he had the opportunity to move as a promo producer after the host of Chamocropolis did not want to stay to help Juan Luks, a master of Post Production editing in Venezuela. Teo used to watch a lot of HBO and Cinemax programming where he was able to take notice of how they would make their promos. Watching these channel gave him inspiration and became a class that paid off when he began working in the promo department at Omnivision.

HBO

After 3 years, he was offered to work for HBO GROUP LATINAMERICA. This channel was launched in Venezuela on September 29 at 8:15pm. This is where he got meet the guys from Sonoclips in RCTV. He continue promoting movies and making trailers to invite viewers to tune in to watch their favorite movies.

Then one day he sat down in front of the Ampex editing console and began editing the promo ROBIN HOOD: THE PRINCE OF THIEVES by himself and show a potential to become Senior Post Production editor.

Freelancing

He had the opportunity to work with Juan Luks, Enrique Lazo, Dameliz Diaz, Franco De Vita, Valdemaro Martinez and others.

Since he likes editing so much he wanted to record his friends when they came to Atlanta to do the Concert Venezuela On My Mind. He was able to record this with 4 DV cameras and edit later in Final Cut. Although the stage had no stage lighting he managed the same. You can watch these videos at

Also, he was able to record Armando Mosquera in Weston Florida to what would become the feature video PLEGARIAS DEL COBRE. One of the songs in the new released CD of Armando. Video that you can enjoy at his homepage at YOUTUBE.

He is looking foward to start a short movie and continue to expand his experience in editing and movie making.
