Rhynchactis macrothrix Bertelsen & Pietsch, 1998 | |
Rhynchactis macrothrix[1] es un pez abisal que pertenece a la familia Gigantactinidae.[2] Habita en el Océano Atlántico y el Índico donde se encuentra a una profundidad de alrededor de 2000 metros (6600 pies). Esta especie crece hasta una longitud de 13 centímetros (5,1 pulgadas) SL.
Fue reconocida por primera vez en 1998, por Erik Bertelsen y Theodore Wells Pietsch III.[3]
